PoolExpert is very flexible regarding the different rules you might want to use in your pool. If you only pick skaters in your pool, you don’t need the Skater 1, Skater 2, Skater 3, Skater 4, Custom 1 and Custom 2 rule types and you can leave them to their default values. However, suppose you would like the calculation for defencemen to be different than your forward players (eg. by giving them points for penalty minutes) or if you would like to make a goon or a rookie round, or any other type of round, then you can use the Skater 2, Skater 3, etc. columns to define different scoring rules. Note that you can rename the rule to something more suitable, for example you could rename the Skater 2 rule to “Rookie” if you wish. Don’t forget when you are going to make your player selection to choose the appropriate scoring rule (Skater, Skater 2, Skater 3, Skater 4, Goalie, Team, Custom 1, Custom 2) that is to be used for calculating the points of this player.
