This option gives you another measure of control over your pool. For example, if you are running a fundraiser, then you can tell others what the pool name and password are so they can select and enter a team, but they will only be allowed to see their stats after they have paid their fee to the specified charity. When they have done so, you click on 'show stats' and then they will be able to view their stats and those of others in the pool.
